Giving back to our community in memory of our brave angels:
Tommy Ziemak, Alexa Artis, & Ron Postell
Forever in our hearts
As a very close-knit family, we experienced the devastating effects of both cancer and ALS with the loss of 3 amazing individuals. In their memory, we decided to start this foundation as a way to help other families fight these diseases in a hope for a cure. With various fundraisers throughout the year, we are able to sponsor 2 rooms at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House Adopt-a-Room program as well as other donations and scholarships to local families.
On December 27, 2018, the daughters and granddaughters of Ron Postell (Carly Povialitis, Stephanie Tuskey, and Adalyn Tuskey - pictured above,) donated $7,500.00 in memory of Ron to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Giving back has come full circle, as one of our other angels, Alexa, received a wish from this amazing foundation. Thanks to your support, we are extremely happy to help make a dream come true for another incredible wish kid.
ZAP goes to Philly! Another great visit to the Ronald McDonald House with our friends Lawrence and Anthony. On February 5, 2019, Kati & Vince Artis and Jessica Jones went to the PRM house to drop off our donation checks from 2018... it was a fantastic day to walk around and check out the new tower of rooms that they have been working on. The work they have done put us at a loss for words and is absolutely amazing! We are very proud as a family to donate to such an amazing cause and help them out by adopting two rooms. We know our 3 angels would be so proud of us. Room 34 (In Loving Memory or Alexa C. Artis) and
Room 35 (ZAP Family Foundation).
